Straughany saying hello

My name is Straughany and i have just started drawing again and really want to take it up and get better and better.

The reason i say take it back up is because when i was a child i used to love drawing and was quite good at it for my age, however due to school and my mates at school not taking up art i dropped the subject which has been one of my biggest regrets.

I have now decided to take it back up and have drew a few pictures but as much as i like what i have done (not brilliant but not bad for somone who hasnt drew for 17 years (since i was 14) but i just dont understand shading, i know the pictures could be a lot better if i could so any decent advice/videos/tutorials would be greatly appreciated.
